Perfect Resume, Imperfect Employee

When searching for prospective talent, HR managers typically scan through a checklist of requirements: education, qualifications, prior experience, a polished resume. However, HR executive Regina Hartley suggests the best person for the job might not always have the perfect resume.

In her TEDTalk, Hartley suggests that people who have a “patchwork” resume often demonstrate more grit and adaptability in the ever-changing workplace than people who have followed the straight and narrow path of relevant internships and schooling.
